Airfield Lighted Signage – Navigating while taxiing on our airfield is simple and understandable with lighted signage that burns concurrent with our edge lights during periods of reduced visibility. Pilots also know their relative position on Runway 13 / 31 during takeoff and landing with distance remaining signs.
Airport Approach Plates and the Airport Facility Directory - Current editions of these documents are available on the FAA website.
Columbia Tower - The following Columbia Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Frequencies are provided:
- Columbia Approach - 133.400 MHz
- Columbia Departure - 133.400 MHz
- Clearance Delivery - 124.400 MHz
Crew Car availability - A crew car is maintained on site and available for use by visiting pilots and flight crews. Please contact our FBO, Eagle Aviation, at (803) 771-7915 to check on availability.
CTAF / UNICOM - The CTAF / UNICOM frequency for CUB is 123.075 MHz. Pilots are advised to monitor the CTAF / UNICOM frequency at all times when in their aircraft.
Distance Remaining Signs - Runway 13 / 31 is equipped with distance remaining signs which inform the pilot of approximate runway distance remaining in thousands of feet.
Edge Lights - Runway and Taxiway edge lights can be activated during periods of reduced visibility by clicking your microphone while tuned to the CTAF / UNICOM frequency.
FBO services - Eagle Aviation, Inc provides a full array of FBO services including: Aircraft Refueling, Tie-down, Tug, Flight School, Airport Advisories, Chart and Pilot Reference material sales, Complimentary coffee, Flight Planning computer access, Snack and Soft drink vending machines, Complimentary local telephone, Free WiFi within the terminal building, access to an on-site kitchen, and complimentary bags of ice.
Foreign Object Debris (FOD) - At CUB, we HATE FOD!!
Fuel - Current prices for full service Aviation Gasoline, Jet A, and Jet A FSII are shown on the bottom of each page in this website. Fuel is available from 6:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. / seven days a week / 365 days a year.
Kitchen - A modern kitchen complete with refrigerator, freezer, conventional oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and large capacity ice machine is available for use by airport patrons.
Meeting Rooms - In addition to the planning, lounge, and snooze rooms in the Airport Terminal Building, there is both a large conference room and a small conference room available. Please call our FBO, Eagle Aviation, at (803) 771-7915 to reserve space for your convenient, on-site business meeting while in town.

On-field aircraft maintenance - On-field aircraft maintenance is available from Aircraft Maintenance Services, Inc at (803) 708-7191. They are an FAA certificated repair station based at CUB and can attend to all your aircraft maintenance needs, both large and small!
Pilots' lounge – The Airport is equipped with a comfortable lounge for visiting pilots which includes a shower, a sofa and lounge chairs, and a large, flat-screen television with Cable TV. A separate, quiet "Snooze Room" with reclining lounge chairs will allow you to catch a quick 40-winks before the next mission.
Ramp Fees – Ramp fees are charged to transient aircraft pilots for every 24-hour period of aircraft parking on the apron. A copy of the current Airport Master Fee schedule, which includes ramp fee information, is available by clicking here. Ramp fees are waived with a qualifying fuel purchase.
Rental Car - Please contact our FBO, Eagle Aviation, Inc, at (803) 771-7915 to reserve an Enterprise Rental Car for your visit to Columbia. Your car will be waiting for you on our apron for a hassle-free transition to ground transportation.
Security - You can rest easy that your aircraft will be safe and secure at CUB. We have a fully enclosed perimeter fence and secure pedestrian and vehicle gates.
South Carolina Aeronautics Commission Airport Directories and Aeronautical Charts - Complimentary copies of the current edition of the South Carolina Airport Directory and Pilot's Guides and the South Carolina Aeronautical Charts are available for the asking from the FBO Desk Staff.
Terminal Hours of Operation - The Terminal Hours of Operation are 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. / seven days a week / 365 days a year.
Weather (WX) - There is an Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS) on site at CUB. Continuously updated WX broadcasts are available on 118.675 MHz and (803) 929-0665. Additional CUB and area WX information is available by clicking here.
